The key objective pursued by CIR is the creation of value in the medium-long term for shareholders, and the strategies and operational management of each company in the group is oriented in this direction. This takes the form of continuous interaction with the financial community, based on dialogue and transparency.
In 2019, the merger of CIR into its controlling company COFIDE, subsequently named CIR S.p.A. – Compagnie Industriali Riunite, was approved, with effect from February 19, 2020. The operation allowed a reduction in the operating costs of the holding system and the shortening of the control chain with regard to the operating companies, in line with the market’s expectations, resulting in a company with a bigger float and more liquid shares and thus more attractive to investors.
The company capital of CIR S.p.A. amounted to € 638,603,657 and represents 1,277,207,314 shares and 1,684,568,916 voting rights.
The table contains the significant shareholdings in CIR (stakes above 5% on the basis of available information and communication received in accordance with Article 120 of the Testo Unico della Finanza and the share swap ratio applied in the context of the merger CIR-COFIDE) on October 27, 2020.
