Our Vision

We operate as a responsible shareholder, bringing together an entrepreneurial spirit and solid financial discipline.

We work for the development and consolidation of our subsidiaries, in a governance framework that allows us to define strategies and take decisions with a view to creating value in the long term.

Throughout our history, we’ve stood out for our capacity to bring new entrepreneurial initiatives to life. Recently, we have redesigned our strategy to focus on healthcare and automotive components.

CIR is controlled by Fratelli De Benedetti S.p.A., a holding company in which the brothers Rodolfo, Marco and Edoardo De Benedetti directly or indirectly hold 100% of company capital and voting rights.

The De Benedetti brothers entrusted management of the company to Monica Mondardini, who has been Chief Executive Officer since 2013.

The portfolio of activities

Our portfolio of activities consists of two assets, KOS and Sogefi.

In healthcare, CIR controls KOS, a leading national operator in the sector of nursing homes for non-self-sufficient elderly people and in functional and psychiatric rehabilitation. In 2019, the company entered the German market, aiming to establish a significant presence in Europe’s largest healthcare market.

In automotive components, CIR controls Sogefi, a group listed on the STAR segment of the Milan Stock Exchange. Sogefi is a key partner for major car manufacturers in two sectors: suspensions and air & cooling systems. The group is headquartered in Italy and operates in 14 countries.

In financial management, CIR Investimenti manages the holding company’s financial resources with an overall prudent approach, holding a diversified portfolio of assets.
