Today the Espresso Group has filed in the Milan Court a petition against the Italian Prime Minister Mr. Berlusconi regarding the statement released on June 13th, last.
On June 13th Mr. Berlusconi had blamed on the daily newspaper la Repubblica to orchestrate a campaign against him and simultaneously incited entrepreneurs to boycott and suspend any advertising investment on it.
The probable causes prospected by the Espresso Group concern smear campaign, abuse of office and infringement of market abuse regulations.
As regards civil jurisdiction, the arraignment shall regard unfair competition and
boycott.
Espresso Group has given mandate to Prof. Carlo Federico Grosso and to Prof.
Guido Rossi to start all legal actions.
