Milan, April 23 2014 – CIR-Compagnie Industriali Riunite S.p.A. announces that the Board of Directors Meetings to examine the Annual Report and Financial Statements for 2013 and the Interim Financial Report as of March 31 2014, scheduled for April 28, will be held on June 5 2014. The Annual General Meeting of the Shareholders for the approval of the Annual Report and Financial Statements for 2013, previously scheduled for June 10, will be held on June 30 2014. The new dates will enable the company to take into account any progress in the negotiations currently taking place between its subsidiary Sorgenia S.p.A. and the latter’s lending banks on the restructuring of that company’s debt. To date, Sorgenia S.p.A has been unable to approve its 2013 Annual Report and Financial Statements because the financial restructuring process is not yet sufficiently mature. The fact that Sorgenia S.p.A., which is fully consolidated by CIR S.p.A., has not yet approved its financial statements has prevented CIR from being able to prepare its own consolidated financial statements and have them approved.
