Francesco Mantegazza (Milan, 1973) has been a standing auditor at CIR since June 2020.

He graduated in Corporate Economics in 1997 from the Bocconi University of Milan and obtained an Executive Master’s in Private Equity (MPE) from Borsa Italiana and the Milan Politecnico’s School of Management in 2004.  He has been registered as a Chartered Accountant and on the Roll of Auditors since 2001.

He became co-Managing Partner of FIVELEX Law and Tax Firm in 2021. Previously he had worked in a professional capacity for a prime tax consulting firm, becoming an equity partner in 2012.

He specializes in domestic and international taxation for multinational groups, investment funds, banks, financial intermediaries, asset management companies, insurance companies, private equity investors and institutional investors in the real estate sector.

He is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Allianz Viva S.p.A. (insurance company of the Allianz group). He is a member of the Boards of Statutory Auditors of various multinational companies and he is the Chairman of the Board of Statutory Auditors of Savills Investment Management SGR S.p.A. and of 21 Investimenti SGR S.p.A..

He is the author of publications on the subjects of finance and international taxation.
