Michele Cavigioli (Milan, 1969) has held since January 2021 the position of Chief Financial Officer of CIR, with responsibility for the preparation of the company’s financial and corporate statements, as well as for Group Finance, Investor Relations and M&A.
He is CEO of CIR Investimenti and Vice Chairman of KOS.
In CIR he previously held the position of Director of Group Finance from 2010 to 2020 and was a Director within Investments Group from 2005 to 2010.
From 1996 to 2005 he worked at McKinsey & Company in Milan, mainly in the telecommunications, high tech, finance and retail sectors.
Prior to that, he worked for Deutsche Bank (Milan) and Magnemag AG (Copenhagen, a producer of systems for the steel industry).
Michele Cavigioli graduated in Electronics Engineering at the Milan Polytechnic in 1994 and was awarded an MBA at the Insead Business School (France) in 1998.
