Michele Cavigioli (Milan, 1969) has held since January 2021 the position of Group Chief Financial Officer at CIR and, starting January 2026, also the role of Head of Finance, Investor Relations and special projects at Sogefi.
He is Chairman of KOS.
In CIR he previously held the position of Head of Group Finance from 2010 to 2020 and was a Director within the Investments team from 2005 to 2010.
From 1996 to 2005 he worked at McKinsey & Company in Milan, mainly in the telecommunications, high tech, finance and retail sectors.
Prior to that, he worked in the IT department of Deutsche Bank (Milan) and for Magnemag AG (Copenhagen), designing HW and SW systems for the steel industry.
Michele Cavigioli graduated in Electronics Engineering at the Milan Polytechnic in 1994 and was awarded an MBA at the Insead Business School (France) in 1998.
