She is a Full Professor of Business Administration at the University of Milan, where she is a member of the Advisory Board of the Research Center in Health Administration, Vice President of the Master’s Degree Program in Healthcare Management and the Health Sector, Scientific Coordinator of the Telehealth Innovation Hub and Director of the UNIMI-Leads Observatory on Women’s Leadership in Healthcare.
Her research activity aims to contribute to improving decision-making and management processes in organizations and the healthcare system, with particular emphasis on the implementation of innovation and the evaluation of impacts from a multidimensional and multi-stakeholder perspective.
She is a member of the scientific board of numerous national and international journals..
She served as a board member of the IRCCS Foundation Besta Institute in Milan from 2019 to 2023 and was appointed President in 2024.
She serves on the CNAO (National Center for Oncological Hadrontherapy) Foundation’s Steering Committee since 2024.
She serves as Chair of the Independent Evaluation Body (OIV – Organismo Indipendente di Valutazione) of the Hospital Authority of Alessandria.
In recognition of her achievements, she was named one of the Inspiring Fifty Women 2024.
Degrees: degree in Economics and Management of Government and International Organizations from Bocconi University of Milan and a PhD in Economics of Businesses and Public Administrations at the University of Parma.
