Auditing firms

The Auditing firm is the external body, appointed by the Shareholders’ Meeting, entrusted with the statutory audit of the accounts.
For the period 2017–2025, the Shareholders’ Meeting of CIR entrusted KPMG with the audit of the separate and consolidated financial statements and the verification of proper bookkeeping.

At the Shareholders’ Meeting of April 28, 2025, CIR appointed Ernst & Young – EY S.p.A. as statutory auditor for the period 2026–2034, as well as for the engagement to certify the compliance of the consolidated sustainability reporting for the years 2026/2028.

KPMG fees

The fee for the audit work carried out by KPMG for CIR’s 2024 financial year amounted to €196,000.
